I'm a guy, and I have this friend whos a girl, and she seems upset and depressed latley. I care about her, and im a little concerned. My main focuc is whenever i try to comfort her (when i try to hug her) she sorta pulls away. I dont think that its something i did, but does anybody have any advise, preferably from girls?
she never has been to fond of hugging, but latly she seems to be especially protective.
Pleez no dirty minds
Answers from girls would be helpful
My friend is depressed (not b/c of me) but she pulls away when i try to hug her?
There are ways to comfort her without touching her. Talking, looking into her eyes, showing you're there for her. When people are depressed, they want to be left alone. Their minds are working so hard that any kind of affection makes them uncomfortable. It's like having a toothache, it hurts so badly, but you don't want to be around anyone, you just want to be left alone to deal with the pain. Don't force it on her, she'll resent you for it and you may loose her. Just be there, and let her know that you are.
Reply:slap her up side the head and tell her to get her marbels in order life is waiting for her and needs her tuch
Reply:Usually when that happens, they may be afraid of physical touch, by a guy. haha. i know i was that way at first, i was scared to be hugged / touched by a guy. but once i got comfortable around that person, then it got easier.
just tell her the truth, make her comfortable, but dont get to close to fast, that could be bad.
Reply:hhmmm...evry girl goes threw that stage it just means that she think u are crushing on her and she needs somespace!
Good luck!
Reply:are you sure she does not have feeling for you. she could just be trying to get over you, i kno if it was me and i liked you i sure would not want to be hug by a person i like. just let her be for a while
Reply:It may be as simple as the fact that she just doesnt like physical contact. Its a defense mechanism. Be there for her, but dont touch her unless she is comfortable with it.
Reply:She proably heard a rumor that yous to r going out.
Reply:maybe she doesn't want to be touched. sometimes when you're in a bad mood you just want to be left alone. don't baby her, just ask her what's wrong and try to relate.
Reply:It is possible that something happened to her recently to make her especially protective. Send her a card, saying that you're thinking about her, that you care and want to be there for her, as her friend. Don't push to try to get her to talk; let her do so in her own time.
Reply:When people are depressed or distanced themselves, the last thing they want is physical contact. Give her space and tell her that you're there for her, to listen and talk to whenever she's ready to.
Reply:you are doing what you are suppose to do as a good friend just keep trying to be there for her but you should also get to the root of the problem that way you can help her better.

My friend is having an elective c section. why?
it's her first baby, she's 32, the baby weighs only 5 lb and she's due this week. i asked her why in an email and she chose not to respond. what are some reasons why one would want an elective c-section?
My friend is having an elective c section. why?
Nothing is wrong with that, don't knock it until you tried it. I prefer a c-section over vaginal because I don't know if I could have pushed my babies out like that.
Reply:well most doctors will not do an elective c section unless you go private and have lots of money to pay for it or maybe there is a good medical reason for it for instance if the woman has herpes then she can pass it off o the child so they will do one then incase the trama causes and outbreak and passes it on etc
Reply:Because she is a chicken sh**. That is so lame if you ask me, don't get pregnant if you can't handle giving birth.
Reply:sounds like she dont want to go through labor and that is the easy ticked out
Reply:You obviously have not been pregnant - or maybe yo had one of those easy no complication pregnancies...
I do not agree with elective c-sections (because it is a surgery) but if I could I would have elective inducement the day i turned 37 weeks ...
The last 2-3 months of being pregnant are hard as hell on the body, your tired, have heartburn , cant sleep, you get puffy hands and feet, it hurts to walk, roll over in bed, get in and out of bed, sit down or stand up - you look like a walking house, you feel like a cow, i feel sickly everyday - I'm tired, cranky, one minute i am hot the next i am freezing, i can pee every 20 minutes and that after holding it for 10 minutes and feeling like i am gonna pee my pants any second..my knees hurt, my hips hurt, my crotch hurts...every couple of hours I have my babies head bounce off of my cervix (which is very very very painful)
Who wouldn't want to have that over as soon as possible if they can...
Hope that helps
Reply:Elective C-sections are on the rise and why anyone chooses one is completely their own business. If your friend refuses to answer your question of why she is, then leave it alone. She may be too embarassed to tell you the true reason why she is taking this route for the delivery of her baby or she may think it a private matter that only she and and her doctor discussed. No matter the reason(s) just be happy for your friend that she is becoming a mother.
Reply:Maybe there is a medical reason and she is afraid and not telling everyone.
Don't be so quick to judge.
I have 15 year old twins and a 7 month old and I am pregnant again.
I chose to have a 2nd c-section instead of trying to deliver........and I am going to have a 3rd. It's my business - and it's your friends business too.
Reply:Umm..... I begged for a c-section the 2nd time around. First of all, anyone who wants to say women are crazy or stupid for wanting one have obviously never experienced the joy of having their 8 pound, 11 ounce baby's head stuck (you know where) for over two hours, pressing down on a nerve and causing pain like you wouldn't believe. Oh yes, I had an epidural but as it turns out, sometimes the epidural can make u hyper-sensitive. So, after two hours of the worst pain EVER I have the M.D. tell me if I don't push him out soon, they will need to use the vacuume. I was well informed and knew that it can cause brain damage, so hey!! new stress.
Then, when I finally did push him out (after 19 hours of labor, mind you and over two hours of strenous pushing) I had a pain so bad in my vagina that I had to sit on ice packs for weeks. It barely touched the pain, even with the Percocet.
Anyway - after that I began to lose control of my bowels. Yup - whenever they felt like it, they came. #2 was the biggest problem. I am 29 now, my son is 5 and I am in need of surgery to have my bladder tied up.
I loved my C-section and would do it again in a heartbeat!!!! The first was so traumatic!!
So, give her a break. Maybe she doesn't want you to know she craps herself........you never know.....
Reply:i dont know but i think they are crazy it takes longer to recover and its harder to get the stomach muscles back into shape
Reply:I dont know. I had a c-section but it medically necessary. I am surprised her doctor is allowing her to have a c-section if it is not medically necessary. The baby is very very small if he/she only weights 5 lbs and she is 40 weeks though.
Reply:it depends on whether the C-section is for maternal request or whether there is an actual medical reason, as the baby is small. Placental dysfuction, where the placenta is not functioning well %26amp; therefore the baby would become distrssed if labour was induced, gential herpes ( risk to baby being born naturally), breech position or other abnormal position. Don't keep harping at her for a reason, she may not know, ot want to discuss it with u.
Reply:Possible reasons are 1)Onset of pregnancy after long time of marriage 2)Fear that i will not conceive if pregnancy will lose this time 3)Listenings about the death/deaths of someone during normal delivery,especially of some relative or beloved one. 3) Risk of death of the baby due to conversion of normal delivery to emergency C-SECTION.
Reply:some do it to 'schedule' the birth at a convenient time. some don't want to get stretched out, if you know what i mean. with her, who knows.
Reply:Maybe its has to do with a personal medical reason she doesnt want to disclose to you. Im with you I would not elect to have a c-section.
Reply:Maybe she has some kind of STD...like herpes that could be transmitted to the baby when it's born naturally and she doesn't want to tell you that...it's delicate...
I understand you're probably concerned why would she want to do something like that...but there could be more than one reason why she's not saying it.
I am so AFRAID of the pain I have thought of a c section but I also have not had any surgeries EVER, so I don't want to damage my body like that, unless it's totally necessary.
Reply:She is probably too afraid of going through with labor and doesn't want to admit she is scared. She may have heard a horror story or two about those women who labor for 48 hours straight then have an emergency c because the baby or the mom is in danger. Who knows. Is she a close friend? I don't see why she wouldn't tell you if she was a good friend. I don't see what the big deal would be in admitting her fears. I think we were all scared at some point that we wouldn't be able to handle it. I am scared now and I have already gone natural for my first! lol Don't listen to the others who say its "her business" like you are being some busy-body. While it IS her business and her decision, you being pregnant are just trying to get as much information about delivering (maybe she knows of some risks that you don't know about).... Congratulations and good luck!
Reply:Fear of pain or the birth itself?
Reply:There are many medical reasons for this to be done, and if she doens't want to share this info with you, you should accept that. She's probably pretty stressed about it too. Maybe she'll tell you after the baby is born.
Reply:Maybe, there is something she is uncomfortable about wanting to share with you. It's her body and her choice, she will need your help after the surgery, just be a loving friend to her and be there for her.
My sister had 3 C_ sections, not by choice, her pelvis was shattered when she was 6, another friend who also was in her early 30's had one and got her tubes tied.
To each his own.
Just love her after all she's your friend.
Reply:She's probably just afraid of the actual birthing process, but she should know that C-Sections are much worse. It takes much longer to recover, and there's a lot more recovery pain. A lot of women completely lose feeling in that little bit where they cut. She may be afraid of *pardon me for saying this* losing vaginal elasticity...she might be afraid that sex won't feel the same.
Reply:if it's truly elective (for non medical reasons) the only reason to do it is convenience. maybe her partner is going out of town, maybe she wants the baby born a certain day.
i dunno. but it's not the smartest decision, imo. c-sections are VERY risky for the mom and risky to even the healthiest of babies.
"A cesarean section poses documented medical risks to the mother's health, including infections, hemorrhage, transfusion, injury to other organs, anesthesia complications, psychological complications, and a maternal mortality two to four times greater than that for a vaginal birth.
An elective cesarean section increases the risk to the infant of premature birth and respiratory distress syndrome, both of which are associated with multiple complications, intensive care and burdensome financial costs. Even mature babies, the absences of labor increases the risk of breathing problems and other complications.
Cesareans can delay the opportunity for early mother-newborn interaction, breastfeeding and the establishment of family bonds.
Cesarean sections are sometimes performed for other than maternal or fetal well-being, such as avoidance of patient pain, patient or provider convenience, provider legal concerns or provider financial incentives. "

Not gloss, but there are specialist paints available.
Reply:Why o why would you want to paint over a u,p,v,c,door?

not have to keep on re-painting U.P.V.C.
Reply:im sure i read somewhere that you can buy a special paint for upvc doors windows etc b+q i think but gloss definately wont work
Reply:There should be no reason to paint one, unless its really damaged and scratched. Then you need to replace. Try a really good detergent and washing up scourer for a clean first.
Paint will not stay on, it will peel.
Reply:You might be able to buy a special paint but when I had mine fiited I asked and they said no.
Reply:the paint would dry out and crack very quickly, if you managed to get it to stay on in the first place, as upvc isn't permeable the paint would have nothing to stick to...try painting a plastic bottle or bowl and you'll see what i mean
Reply:No you can't paint it.
Reply:You can and should paint them....use the sponge brushes for a streak free finish

Reply:Your mate is right. It will look 5hit.

Reply:no dont do it. it will all bubble up and flake off. why do u want to paint it?
Reply:Don't do it. It will look ******** awful, and the paint will start to peel-off after a couple of weeks. A nice white clean uPVC door, and you want to paint it? Why?
Wash it with hot soapy water, dry it thoroughly, and then polish it with car polish such as Autoglym or similar. If it is really badly stained, T-Cut it first, then polish it. It will look gorgeous.
Reply:yes u can but make sure u key it well and use a gloss roller otherwise it will look crappp
Reply:i am a painting contractor and the person who suggested using binz was on the right track....I would suggest an even better primer called X-I-M ...it is about 50 dollrs a gallon but it will give you the adhesion you will need to bond to the pvc, if you use the x-i-m you will be able to use any paint for a topcoat you want but i would suggest an industrial enamel...Valspar makes a good one.good luck

My friend has backed up his C drive to a usb travel drive. He is afraid that Windows XP is not backed up on it
If the C drive fails can the computer be booted from the travel drive?
My friend has backed up his C drive to a usb travel drive. He is afraid that Windows XP is not backed up on it
Unfortunately, no. The C drive failing is like your hard drive failing. In order to re-boot your computer after a hard drive (or C drive failure) you would need to get a new hard drive. Also, I don't believe it's possible to back up the operating system itself, but you could surely backup everything else.
Reply:No, you cannot install XP on a thumb drive without a lot of configuration and setup work. If his hard drive crashes, he will still have to reload the entire system, but at least you'll have copies of any documents, favorites and such backed up.
Reply:he can't back up windows xp on a flash drive or a travle drive. there is too little space and it just dosen't work~!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Reply:There is no way you can make a copy of windows XP.
Reply:The only way to also back up XP is to 'clone' the C: drive onto another HDD using True Image 8 or higher. ~
This will also backup all your programs (on C:) in a useable fashion
Reply:If you backed up all the files which I doubt you did, b/c windows is such a big file. A usb flash drive MOST likely wouldnt be able to hold that. I would suggest an external hard drive. You prolly backed up your files.....not XP
Reply:No, windows is not backed up.
Although its possible to make an .iso of your current windows installation, it is too big to fit on a flash drive, and you have to know what you are doing and use special software to do so.
Also, you have to use bootable media for windows to work. Flash drives are not bootable media.

Friend found out has hepatitis c - what best way to offer support in a letter?
Ok, not sure how to handle this, but what kind of words of encouragement to offer someone who has hepatitis c - i just am having trouble with some of my letter
Friend found out has hepatitis c - what best way to offer support in a letter?
You are a good friend to be supportive at a time like this. So often people step away from their friends because they don't understand the disease, or they have fears of catching that disease. The best thing that you can do is to educate yourself about this so you won't have unnecessary fears.
As for your letter, many people live with hep c and live a normal life. Hep c is a slowly progressing disease (unless someone hurries it along by drinking alcohol or using too many OTC or prescription drugs). It can be managed by a healthy lifestyle, and most importantly, it can be treated. While the treatment is effective in about 50-80%+ of those who take it, even in those that fail treatment, the medication has been shown to histologically improve the condition of the liver. Hep c (HCV) is not a death sentence in most people. Encourage your friend to educate herself/himself so he/she can make the best health care decisions. And let him know you have two internet friends (Bayla and myself) who have cleared the virus on treatment and are living a normal life. Best wishes to you and your friend.
Reply:don't mention the disease directly, but offer your friendship and assurance that you will be there, should the need arise
Reply:I think you should just let her know that you're always going to be there if he/she needs support or feels down and needs an ear.
Let them know that they are strong and brave.
I guess its easier if you know the person .
I'd say write an uplifting letter that hasn't got a, "Oh i feel sorry for you" tone to it.
You just need to let them focus on the good qualities. Positivity is always a good start :) x
Reply:Trish..your a good friend..I have a letter to people from a person with HCV..I'll send it under seperate cover..it may help your g/f with her pals.

My boyfriend was cheating on me w/ my best friend. I dumped but I always c him with my friend. :-(?
You POOR THING.
I usually don't answer questions like this, but I really feel for you.
You know what? DON'T let them get the pleasure of seeing that this bothers you. Just try and ignore them when you see them. You know.. act like you are having a great time.
As for in private, well what can I say. Crying ain't all bad.
Just know that you deserve someone a lot better than him and that one day, you will find him. Let these 2 losers be.. because they DESERVE each other! Don't worry.. their happiness will no doubt be short lived.. Bad Karma. It's the way of the world.
Good Luck Sweetie!

Neither of them have any consideration for your feelings nor respect for your friendship. Find new friends and forget about them. Karma will revisit them...Good Luck
Reply:I don't think that girl is no longer your "friend" if she was a REAL FRIEND she wouldn't of done that to you. Just forget about her and MOVE ON!
Reply:I can see how that bites the big one,especially if they seem happy but that happiness cant last. She isnt special and she,too will get cheated on. Good for you for having enough self respect and sense to ditch him. Theyre are meant for each other the world will unfold as it should.
Reply:stay away from that friend cause she really wasent a friend if she went behind your back. most likely you'll see less of them
Reply:ok be cleaver if you think it is sensy and he love her ok break up your conect and think it is very good you underestand very soon but first wait and look careful perhaps you go wrong! but look up very carefuly
Reply:She was not your best friend if she did that to you, remember that. And he isn't worth shedding a tear over, either! Be happy that you are now rid of two contaminated sources that would only poison your life. Hopefully you will soon realize that they don't deserve you, and find a way for you to be happy!
Reply:I would have to agree with the first person who gave an answer if he will cheat on you with your friend he will do it to her also and so on and so forth but when she comes back to you trying to apologize act like she did you a favor by taking him off your hands.
Reply:First of all, she is not your friend. You will be seeing them together for sometime... at least until he cheats on her with one of her friends... What comes around goes around. Sorry for your troubles. Get out there and meet some new people. It sounds like you have not had much luck in finding loyal friends. Take the opportunity to improve yourself instead of worrying about them. Then when you are ready there will be someone out there that will love you and be loyal to you. Good luck.

There this guy and he has a girl friend but he never see or talks to her b/c he always w/ me?
there this guy who has a girlfriend and he never see or talks to her b/c hes always on the phone w/ me or at my houes and when we r 2gether which is all the time we do stuff that him and his gf should be doing together. what i mean is me and him makeout, hold hands and do other stuff that teenager shouldnt do and he never does this stuff with his gf and his girlfriend thinks that me and him r just friends but he says to me that we r firend sw/ benafits he also says that he is not going out w/ this chick so he can get me to do more stuff w/ him and next he want dry sex or sex what should i do i really like/love this guy and he says he love me
There this guy and he has a girl friend but he never see or talks to her b/c he always w/ me?
SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAVE A YOUNG PLAYER ON YOUR HANDS TELL HIM TO LOSE THE OTHER CHICK OR YOUR GONNA BUST HIM OUT AND TELL HER EVERYTHING. OR YOU CAN JUST GIVE IT TO HIM AND MAYBE HE WILL LIKE IT SO MUCH HE WILL DUMP THE OTHER GIRL OR HE WILL NOT LIKE AND GET RID OF YOU. THE BALL IS IN YOUR COURT. WHAT TO DO WHAT TO DO?

This is something that, I don't know. but you know what? , this is two ways it can go; if it is not one, it is the other cause theses things sont really happen like that if there is not one of theses reason. So first of all, he might like you and love the other girl, so he is using you and save the other girl to do his future. In this case, the best thing to do is to say no, slow down on him, and let him go. cause my sister, he had a boyfriend who liked her so much, and he ask her to have sex. So my sister said no, and my sister said, go to any other girl, and do what you want to do, i will not mind. and as said, as done, and my sister didnt have it with him. the other case is that iether he might try to be a player, or he has too mich time with you than the other girl which make him likdes you more than the other girl, so the best thing to do in this case is to make friend with his GF, and make them have more time together than having ot much time with you cause the more time he will have with you is the more he know you, and the more he knows you, the easier it is for you to do what he ask you to do. So get off a little bit, and slow down. cause it can get worst if that girl didnt send him to have sx with other girl, she mmight be jalous of you and you can get beat up, and you can get pregnant, and you is alot of negativity in doing it too. so you might want to back off of him.

I want to send 100 C++ programs to my friend. How can i compress it.And how can I attach it?
Look for an archiving program such as the free open-source 7-zip. You can zip all the files into one file.
Yahoo Mail probably limits the size of your attachment. If you can't send the whole file, then try Lycos, Gmail, or one of the other free email providers.

Old friend = dumb *********?
Me and my best friend used to be friends with this girl and then she became the emiptome of dumb bitches. we cant stand to be around her she whines all the time dropped out of school for a trimester moved out of her house to live with her boyfriend who we are still friends with and she has only been dating him for a few months. but obviously thats not the question . see my friend and i both have boyfriends and they are friends with and related to this dumbbitches boyfriend and they dont understand why we wont hang out with the the dumb ***** and her boyfriend we dont care if they hang out with them but we refuse. should we get over ourselves and be friends with her for our bf's and her boyfriends sake or are we in the right to not want to be around her?
Old friend = dumb *********?
sounds like she might be havibg some hard times..go easy on the girl..the choices about being aroound her are up 2 u. Be careful to not be so harsh on people..u wouldnt want to be treated like that id think.
Reply:it's a free country- hang withem if you choose. If you don't want to tell the other friend why and leave it at that. Maybe after a while they will notice she is a ***** too, Nah I doubt it, Hey that's life. It's real hard to tolerate some of our friends mates but sometimes if we cherish their friendship enough we will look past this other person. It's according to how much the other person means to you.

It means Mark knows the friend you speak of. It's a dialect in the Philippines called Bisaya.
Please translate..kaila c mark ana imu friend gi ingon?
that's in BISAYA( filipino dialect)
rough translation: "Mark knows about your so-called friend"
Reply:Maybe it would be helpful if you asked for what language to be translated into, and what that language is.

There are all sorts of places you can go for this on the Internet but I think most of them charge. If you e mail me I can send you a template and brief instructions so you can do it on your own PC providing you have an up to date version of word.

It was on Twisted Sister's 1985 COME OUT AND PLAY Cd as well as on their 1999 CD Club Daze Volume 1, The Studio Sessions.
Reply:LEADER OF THE PACK BMI Work #843252
I don't know what version you have but six artist have recorded that song.
1. THE CHIPMUNKS
2. MIDLER BETTE
3. SHANGRI LAS - most famous version
4. TWISTED SISTER
5. WALTER "WOLFMAN" WASHINGTON
6. U T F O
I'm thinking its Twisted Sister or UTFO.

In c++ why cant a friend function be declared as virtual?
A friend function can't be declared as virtual because it is NOT A MEMBER of the class. Rather its an outside member function which has been granted access to the members of the class.
You can get over this shortcoming by simply using an extra line of code. Here's an example:
class Base {
public:
friend void f(Base%26amp; b);
// ...
protected:
virtual void do_f();
// ...
};
inline void f(Base%26amp; b)
{
b.do_f();
}
class Derived : public Base {
public:
// ...
protected:
virtual void do_f(); // "Override" the behavior of f(Base%26amp; b)
// ...
};
void userCode(Base%26amp; b)
{
f(b);
}
The statement f(b) in userCode(Base%26amp;) will invoke b.do_f(), which is
virtual[20]. This means that Derived::do_f() will get control if b is actually
a object of class Derived. Note that Derived overrides the behavior of the
protected: virtual[20] member function do_f(); it does not have its own
variation of the friend function, f(Base%26amp;).

How do you tell someone that you don't want to be their friend anymore b/c all they do is make you feel bad?
If you don't feel that you can be honest with them about how you feel, I think you should find other activities to do, getting too busy to support your friendship. Friendships will dry up, if you don't water them regularly with visits, phone calls and notes. If you are too busy to fit her into your schedule, she'll either ask you up front what's up or she'll slowly move on to someone else. If she asks, that's your cue to be honest, even though it might hurt. Without knowing how she "makes" you feel bad, it's hard to know if you're not bringing on some of this treatment yourself, actually encouraging her that it's ok to treat you this way. Some people think it's better to have a "bad" friend than no friend at all. If she is truly a "toxic" friend, move on to more positive people. In time, she'll fade away. I would rather that she knows exactly what's causing you to not want to be around her. Maybe she doesn't have a clue that she's treating you badly. Maybe she does this to everyone. If not, you have to ask yourself why you? Letting her know will give her the option of changing...or not. If you have body odor, and everyone avoids you, not wanting to be around you, wouldn't you want to be told? You might think everyone hates you or maybe doesn't like your clothes or something. No one has the right to treat you badly. You give them that right. You can take it away. %26lt;*)))%26gt;%26lt;

tell them how you feel and ask why they do it. they usually stop.

I've been a good friend to you, but you haven't been a good friend to me." If they don't want to listen, leave and let them know that the friendship is over.

You find your partner in bed with your best friend. They say "C'mon, join in..." What do you do?
Hey if you can't beat them you might as well join them! Take a walk on the wild side and live a little!!

I will give a bloody real kick on his *** and throw him out of my house. Then i will ask her about this and ask why i shouldnt divorce her. If she seems to feel really sorry for what she did and convinces to me for not duing such a thing in future i will have to forgiveher as its his 1st blunder and hoping it wontbe reated by her in future. I told a friend (a girl) i love her but she told me she only c's me as a friend should i keep trying?
we went to school together since 6th grade and she liked me in 11th grade but i jsut liked her as a friend and after that i started to like her A LOT! and i decided to tell her how i felt and she told me she only saw me as a friend but i love her so much because when we hang out all i think about is her and what i can do or say to maker her laugh or feel good. but i dont know if i should just forget about it and stay as friends or keep trying and see if she later on sees me more than a friend. what should i do ??
I told a friend (a girl) i love her but she told me she only c's me as a friend should i keep trying?
dude i been in this situation. u need to get her jealous. if ur like i want to b with u then its to easy. u need to like look like ur having fun without her. go out alot and meet different girls. im not saying go hook up im saying u need to look like she is missing out. if she sees that she might just realize she does like u. im sure back in the day when she did she had to forget being with u. now look at present and u want her now but she stopped liking u and u became great friends. so yeah man either do that or u need to tell her deeply that u messed up when she liked u. u c now what a great girl she is and that u can make her happy. girls r different man. u never know what they want to hear but if u love her u dont give up. unless she has moved on with another guy. if she single keep trying. dont use love though. some girls get scared of that word to. its to fast and deep to say that. just tell her u would like a chance to make her happy. that u wouldnt want to regret not trying. at least if u do u know man. then u can move on. i hope she sees the light and u dont end up making mistake i did. good luck man

Jack, give her a little time. You said, she was in love with you before. Who knows maybe she still have some feelings for you but doesn't want to admit. I'm not sure. o.k. Give her space, time and air. Let her think and decide about it.
Sorry if I've hurt you, I didn't mean it. I only want to help you. If you keep trying, you can lose her forever, as a friend and as your love. Think clearly of what you want before doing anything that can hurt her and you.

Reds means amphetamines, and vitamin c actually refers to vitamin c which is used to enhance lsd trips. I love Grateful Dead.

this ex friend is really annoying and i want hit her so bad and every one knows it.
What do you do if you wanna punch an ex friend but cant b/c i will get expelled?
everyone knows of your intentions so keep away and try to ignor her as she tries to make you annoyed, you don't pay any attntion she'll get it as useless and will come to know taht you are in senses enogh to ignor her that'll be as annoying for her.

She can TRY to have you arrested for assault, but I doubt seriously you would actually be arrested - guarantee by the time it ever got to court, she would drop it. Even if she did win, all you would get is a scolding. She would have a hard time convincing anyone that she did not provoke it, and it would make her look like a big sissy - getting beat up by someone younger.
Try to avoid doing it where there are any witnesses.

If you are a man, then it's really clear that you really like her as more than a friend. You need to sort out your feeling, then have a serious discussion with her.

Can i know my old friend address for c.vijyam no-2, sliban lane, Eopo, Malaysia?
The address should've been something like this:-
C. Vijayam
No.2, Silibin Lane
Ipoh, Perak
Malaysia.
Anyway, why don't you try looking for your friend via the Malaysian white pages at the following link http://www.yellowpages.com.my and look for the white pages link and type in the name. You can even narrow it down to Ipoh.

Reply:no you can't catch it by being around them. you are safe as long as you are not having unprotected sex or sharing needles.
Reply:Bottom line, HCV is contracted through blood-to-blood transmission - it could be anything or any activity that can transmit this virus from blood to blood (including unprotected sex that entails blood-to-blood viral transmission or even kissing with bleeding gums, contact sports, open wounds, and sharing personal hygene applications including utensils and medical items that are contaminated with blood of an HCV patient).
Just always take the necessary precautions when being around and keep yourself from getting contaminated.

they can be jalouse of u. i never had a best friend in my live and i am 22 y old. it came a time in my live i try to make a female friend. at 1st thing will start good at the beginning and for some reason, they act funny. as the person i am, i alway tried to work thing out with them and some time i think i am being to nice but it who i am.
i am not rich, or have the perfect body, or anything. those girls have the body and beauty, and love material thing and i am not into things like that.
do many body been through things like this?
Ladies did ever felt like u can be friend with other b/c...?
You have to be who you are, and when people can't accept that, believe me, they aren't people you want to befriend anyway. You want friends that are going to be there for you, not just you there for them. Be yourself, don't "try" to make friends come, they will see that, and prey on that to get what they want out of you. Just keep being the nice person you are, and when the time is right, the one true friend will come. Because 1 true friend is always better then 20 fake so-called friends.
Reply:Yes, some women can be very insecure and that is the issue with them. They are not happy with themselves and never will be. They will probably die with this same attitude. I personally have only one true friend who is a female, we have been friends for 25 years and I consider myself very fortunate. I have a great deal of male friends, they don't have these same issues. Good luck and God bless

You need to find women who you have more in common with to be friends. You are judging and putting to much emphasis on what they look like and how much money they have. Find someone more like yourself and you should get along fine.

I have a friend with hep c should he seek treatment?What if he does'nt will he die?
He might. Hep C can damage your liver to the point of needing a transplant, even with treatment. But, there is hope that is can go into a remission sort of state. This won't mean he doesn't have the disease anymore. It just means that it will leave him alone for a little bit and bug him again when it feels like it.
I have a friend with hep c should he seek treatment?What if he does'nt will he die?
He must have seen somebody otherwise he wouldent know he has it!! AND YES IT IS VERY SERIOUS he needs to see somone like now!
Reply:Yes he should seek treatment. Get him to a doctor. I have two brother in laws that have it - ex drug users. It is transmitted through bodily fluids, sharing needles etc.
Reply:YES! He has to go to a doctor!!!

My daughter - 4 yrs. is imitating her friend's poor speech. C and K becomes T. ETC.?
She normally is very articulate, and enunciates her words clearly. I have tried talking to her, telling her I don't understand her when she says Tatoon instead of Cacoon, or Tar instead of Car. How about Talt instead of Talk. It's very frustrating, and I am losing my patience. She is a smart cookie, and I know she is doing it intentionally. She will say it wrong, then when I say something she will say it correctly. This started 2 days ago, so it's a new thing, and I need to nip it before it becomes habitual. I have tried explaining that her friend has a problem with her speech, she is getting help to learn to say her words correctly, and talking the way she is, doesn't help her friend to learn the right sounds. It doesn't matter, she keeps doing it. Any suggestions on how to get her to stop?
My daughter - 4 yrs. is imitating her friend's poor speech. C and K becomes T. ETC.?
Don't chastise her, she is four. Instead ignore what she is saying and instead say " that's right we are going to the CAR"
Be positive when she pronounces something correctly.Speak to all who care for her and let them know that you are ignoring it and reinforcing it with the correct pronounciation of the word .She will get bored and move onto something else that will annoy you!
Reply:I teach 4's and I deal with this on an everyday basis. What is frustrating is that my own 4 year old brings it home with me! And the worst is that I catch myself talking like one of my students with very impulsive speech at home. He says things so passionately and intense that it is just fun. :)
I wouldn't ignore this because then she may keep it up and form a habit. I would be consistent about it - set up a rule that if she says she will go into an immediate punishment - no warning. Even if she looks shocked and says "Oh sorry" she still needs a time out. After her 4 minutes remind her what she did and what she should say. Brag on her about proud you are she can speak so well.
Good Luck. SD
Reply:Do the same with her name and favourite things, pronounce them wrongly, see what happens.
Reply:If she is doing it deliberately, she may be looking for attention. She may realise that her friend gets attention because of her speech difficulties. I would try to ignore it and repeat the words she mispronounces properly after her. If she can already speak properly this will only be a game she is playing.
Please don't punish her for speaking like this as it could have a negative effect on how she views her friend and she may try to punish her friend for not speaking properly. It might also make a bigger issue out of it than necessary. I do agree with praising her when she speaks well. Then she gets attention in a positive manner.
Reply:Positive Punishment. Punish to demolished the behavior for example tell her to take a time out for 5 minutes and she has to say the word the correct way in order leave time out. Also talk to the teacher to make the teacher catch it and punish her by doing time out as well for her.
Reply:My 4 yr old niece does the same thing. She has a 5 yr old cousin who has a very bad speech problem caused by prolonged sucking on pacifiers. It is really hard to understand her. So my niece pronounces the words just like her. I guess they think it's the right way to say it. All we have to do is correct her and my niece does fine. She forgets that she was speaking like her 5 yr old cousin.
Reply:Four year olds will try just about anything to control their environment. If she is imitating, that means she knows the right way to speak. The more you try to control how she talks, the more she'll want to keep speaking the sounds wrong. Even though it's hard, let her experiment with it. She'll go back to the right way when she's ready or gets bored with it.
Reply:Talk to her like that too and after a period of time, ask her if she likes it

Is it regualr for a friend to want to c ur penis?
Is it gay to see another males penis?
Is it gay to see another guys penis?
I am a teenage male and my friend wanted to measure penis sizes and I changed the subject because I thought He might consider me gay if I agreed to it... Well is it gay to see another guys penis%26gt;%26gt;
Is it regualr for a friend to want to c ur penis?
not all circumstances but please don't let him measure your penis your penis size should not concern him. Let him ask his girlfiend to measure it for him.

In the military you will too BUT one guy measuring another

Reply:wow, thats disturbing.
Reply:Nope, when you're a teenager, it's pretty common to be curious. Whether something is considered gay or not, you're only gay if you're attracted to other guys but not to girls. If you're curious, too, or at least not bashful, go for it. And don't panic if something happens. Again, it's what you prefer that matters, not just the curiosity or an occasional attack of hormones.
Reply:Hi there. Since you are questioning whether this is acceptable or not then you have doubts about the appropriateness of participating in this activity. Generally speaking, this behaviour is natural for younger children like those 4-6 years of age. Children are naturally curious. At your age, you are experimenting with gender identification and many other social and peer issues. Don't participate. The problem with many people is that they tell others who may not understand the innocent intention you may have. This can lead to ridicule and humiliation that can follow you through high school and beyond. The stigma can be unbearable. How about measuring your penis in total private and exchange measurements with your friend instead? Kids are mean. This may end up being an experience gone bad. Follow your gut instincts.There are many sites on line that show developmental changes through puberty that you can read for yourself. Have a great week.

They have better things to worry about, like shirts and drapes and stuff. I think you're making this up. Put your pants back on.

Yes. All guys are curious as to what the competition is. Whether they admit it or not. The decision is up to you guys to show and tell. Many guys want to see if they are 'normal and how their's is different from yours.
2. Is it gay to see another males penis?
No. Many men will see many penises in a lifetime due to showers and urinals. If you happen to look, there's nothing wrong with you. Just don't make it completely obvious your staring. Staring is rude.
3. Is it gay to see another guys penis?
See answer to question 2.
4. I am a teenage male and my friend wanted to measure penis sizes and I changed the subject because I thought He might consider me gay if I agreed to it.
He might be trying to pull a fast one on you to see if you would agree to it. He may also want to see if he is bigger or smaller than you. If he is truely serious about it, the decision is up to you guys no matter what people say on here.
Remember to respect each other's privacy and keep what you did to yourselves, unless you don't care who knows. So don't be afraid to if you really wanna know and he is really serious.
If you are measuring, measure from the underside of the penis from base to tip. When you measure around, do it around the thickest part if the shaft.

My best friend has Hepatitis C and no Doctors will see her without?
Health insurance. She is very healthy do, no liver problems or anything like that, but she want's to buy a low cost health ins. Do you think they will sell it to her under this condition?
My best friend has Hepatitis C and no Doctors will see her without?
Star is right. She needs to seek a job that offers Group Health and life Insurance. I'm parapledgic and have the same problem. Fortunately I work for a company that offers both group health and life, therefore I'm covered, even for pre-existing conditions.
As for the Hep C. She needs to keep tabs on it like getting a liver test every 5 years or so. My daughter has Hep C and she does fine. www.webmd.com has some good info on hep C and the new treatments / cures for it. Good luck T
Reply:If she is able to find a policy that will take her, you can be sure that the hepatitis will be considered a pre-existing condition and any treatment related to it will be excluded. It won't be low cost. With her condition, she will need expensive treatment at some point. You can't expect to pay pennies and get platinum.
Reply:how about a simple concept?
she pay cash for the visit , it is still legal.
Reply:Um, no. No one is going to want to take on that pre-existing condition.
BTW, there IS no low cost health insurance, you get what you pay for.
Reply:I agree with the first poster. If she is gainfully employed and the employer offers health insurance, she should get it, regardless of cost, because with group coverage, one is usually covered.

My best friend is being a selfish *********!?
We have been friends for five years. We were really really close friends. Our friendship was so unique that watever happend to her, happend to me and vise versa. Like with dating and bfs and stuff like that. Three months ago she got married, she was engaged, met a different guy, and married the new one instead. And not shes just being the biggest ********* and not calling me anymore, she used to call me everyday and every other day. I understand shes married now but cmon, shes being soo selfish, ive been there for her through ALOT, and now shes acting like its only her and her husband.
I feel soo betrayed and hurt. I dont know what to do.
My best friend is being a selfish *********!?
Give her time (and space!) to find a balance between her new husband and life and her close friend -you. Marriage may consume more of her attention than you might expect -especially within the first year.
Use this time to make new friends, and when she comes around, you will have something new to share with her.
Relax, don't pressure her to spend time with you as that may actually push her away. If you've been a good friend to her, she will remember you and miss you and will contact you.
Sure, if you don't hear from her after a considerable amount of time, give her a call every once in awhile just to say hi and to see how she's doing, but let her take the initiative to offer to get together.

My best friend is being a selfish *********!?
Give her time (and space!) to find a balance between her new husband and life and her close friend -you. Marriage may consume more of her attention than you might expect -especially within the first year.

My friend has hep c she has been with my man and i was tested and dont have it why is that?
Transmission of any disease is not absolute; hepatitis is contagious through bodily fluids, but doesn't have to be. Hep C is a terrible disease, thank goodness you didn't get it. Get tested again because it's not always picked up on the first test.

Get yourself tested again in 6 months or some time frame To double check you haven't Contracted it. did you talk to the doc or nurse about the time frame and results.
It doesn't always show up on the 1st test you take.
How long has it been that you have had contact with his bodily fluids before you got tested?

Reply:Hepatitis is the Latin word for liver inflammation. Type C hepatitis is caused by a virus called hepatitis C virus.
The causes:
Through contact with an infected person's blood.
Through sexual contact, but the risk is very small.
Transmission from mother to child is rare.
The virus can be contracted by accidental pricking with a contaminated needle - this mainly concerns healthcare workers and drug addicts sharing needles.
Symptoms:
The incubation period, from the time of exposure to the virus until the onset of the disease, is one to six months. Early symptoms include poor appetite, lack of interest in food, nausea, aching muscles and joints, and light fever.
Later symptoms include yellowing of skin, mucous membranes, and white portions of the eyes (jaundice, icterus); light-coloured stools; and dark urine. Once the late symptoms have developed, in most cases the patient quickly begins to get better.Only 1 in 10 patients with acute hepatitis has symptoms. The remaining nine have no symptoms whatsoever. In 8 out of 10 patients, the infection becomes chronic.
Patients with chronic type C hepatitis may not have any symptoms at all or experience only mild symptoms such as tiredness, periodical pressure below the right ribs caused by the enlarging liver, and aching muscles and joints.
Approximately one third of the patients develop cirrhosis over a number of years, which can lead to liver failure and other serious complications. On average, cirrhosis develops about 20 years after the virus has been contracted.

My friend has hep. c. and a bad liver can we save him?
You may need treatment if
The National Institutes of Health recommends treatment for HCV if you have:
A positive test result indicating hepatitis C virus circulating in your bloodstream
A biopsy that indicates significant liver damage
Elevated levels of a liver enzyme called alanine aminotransferase (ALT) in your blood
You may not need treatment if
If you have only slight liver abnormalities, your doctor may decide against medical treatment because your long-term risk of developing a serious disease is slight, and the side effects of treatment can be severe.
On the other hand, because there's no foolproof way to know whether you'll develop liver disease later on, your doctor may recommend fighting the virus. Improved treatment methods and a higher success rate in fighting hepatitis sometimes tip the balance in favor of more aggressive approaches.
Drug therapies — pegylated interferon alfa and ribavirin
The standard of care for hepatitis C treatment is weekly injections of a drug called pegylated interferon alfa combined with twice-daily oral doses of ribavirin (Rebetol) — a broad-spectrum antiviral agent. Two pegylated interferon medications are available, peginterferon alfa-2b (Peg-Intron) and peginterferon alfa-2a (Pegasys).
The goal of HCV treatment is to clear the virus from your bloodstream. Combined pegylated interferon and ribavirin clear HCV infection in 40 percent to 80 percent of those treated. It's success often depends on the type of infection. For example, this treatment clears infection in up to half the people with genotype 1 — the most common genotype found in the United States — and in up to 80 percent of those with genotypes 2 and 3.
Duration of treatment
If you have genotype 1 HCV, your doctor may recommend a course of relatively high-dose medications for 48 weeks. If you have genotype 2 or genotype 3, a 24-week course of medications at a lower dose may be adequate.
If one course of combined pegylated interferon and ribavirin doesn't clear HCV from your bloodstream, your doctor may recommend a second course of combination therapy. If your viral load declined during the first round of medications, a second round may clear the virus completely. Even if there was no change in your viral load during the first course of treatment, a second course may help reduce the damage HCV does to your liver.
Side effects of medications
Interferon side effects include severe flu-like symptoms, irritability, depression, concentration and memory problems, skin irritation, fatigue and insomnia.
Ribavirin can cause a low red blood cell count (anemia), itchiness, nasal congestion, skin irritation, fatigue and birth defects.
Combination therapy including pegylated interferon and ribavirin may cause psychosis or suicidal behavior in a small number of people. For this reason, treatment with interferon isn't recommended if you have a history of uncontrolled major depression. You're also not a good candidate for this treatment if you're pregnant or have untreated thyroid disease, low blood cell counts or autoimmune disease, or if you drink alcohol or use drugs and are unwilling to stop or seek help with stopping.
Side effects from combined pegylated interferon and ribavirin are generally most severe during the first few weeks of treatment, and may be improved with pain relief medications and antidepressants. However, some people taking interferon need their dosage reduced because of severe side effects, and others must stop treatment.
Liver transplantation
The best treatment for people with end-stage liver disease is liver transplantation. However, the number of people awaiting transplants far exceeds the number of donated organs. But several new developments in transplantation may make it possible for more people to receive transplants.
These developments include the donation of liver segments from living relatives, splitting one donated liver between two recipients, new organ allocation policies and, especially, new approaches to liver transplants for people with HCV.
Until recently, HCV-infected livers were routinely discarded. But studies show that people already infected with HCV who receive livers from HCV-positive donors can do as well as if they had received a liver not infected with the virus. This may mean that many more livers will become available for people with hepatitis C.
Liver transplantation does not cure HCV. The majority of people with hepatitis C who receive liver transplants experience a recurrence of the virus. Those with HCV who receive liver transplants also are at accelerated risk of developing cirrhosis within five years. Treatment with HCV-fighting medications may help prevent a recurrence of infection or treat recurrent illness that develops after a liver transplant. However, the effectiveness of this type of treatment after a liver transplant is unclear.
Immunizations
Your doctor will likely recommend that you are vaccinated against the hepatitis A and B viruses. These are separate viruses that can also cause liver damage and complicate treatment of hepatitis C.

they would give him a liver transfer.
He didnt.

Talk about a liver trasplant.
Reply:Your friend MUST stop drinking and doing drugs. It's really hard on the liver any how, even worse with hep c. He should ask his doctor about taking interferon treatments. The new treatments don't have the severe side effects like the old one and has a much high percentage rate of helping people. There is no cure for hep c, but a successful barrage of treatments can lower the viral load to 0. The virus always stays in the body, even after treatment. I have met a lot of people that have had great success with the treatments. My husband just started them. He got Hep c from a field blood transfusion in Viet Nam. He's had the disease all these years and never knew it. But he is not a drinker and never did drugs, so his liver is actually in really good condition. Tell your friend to ask his doctor. A liver transplant is not a cure for hep c either. They are good for maybe 5 - 10 years and hep c can reoccur.

My friend has hep c and she needs a job really bad i don't know what to do?
she is a really good hearted person and she really needs some money but she wants to work and we live in a small town and all there are are food jobs could she work at a grocery store if she wore long sleve shirts and gloves?
My friend has hep c and she needs a job really bad i don't know what to do?
She can work absolutely anywhere.
There is no risk for her transmitting Hep C unless she is sharing needles with her customers or sharing razors.
Hep C transmission outside of injection drug use (sharing needles) is fairly uncommon and there are no restrictions on employment.
For Hep C to transmit, her blood has to leave her body and enter the blood stream of another person (which is a pretty difficult task)
So, she can work ANYWHERE she likes and does not have to disclose her Hep C status to her employer. In fact, I wouldn't as there are a lot of misconceptions about Hep C!
Reply:She can work anywhere; she is not precluded from any job. She does not have to wear long sleeves or gloves, either. Hepatitis C is not transmitted in any manner other than blood to blood contact. Please learn the risk factors.

My friend is a C.A.dropout in India. Is it possibt to pass cima of UK or CFA of USA. Or will an MBA be enough?
hmm... quite a lot of acronyms there...
Why does the friend come over and C-Block me?
it's like I am in a bar last night alking to some hot Asian chick, and she is laughing and what I'm saying and all. Although not everything but it wasn't that off-putting. Not like her friend could have heard anyway . . . and sure she comes and gets her and brings her away . . . why is that?

So every now and then the sober friend takes a break from having fun to reel in the friends that have had to much to drink to keep them from doing something they may regret later.

My friend had a c-section 7months ago and is pregnant again!?
She asked me 2 months ago about what I thought about her getting pregnant again. Im a nurse and i've always heard to wait at least a year to make sure you are totally healed. I told her I thought she should wait. She waited a month! Her son is 7 months old and she is 6 weeks pregnant. I've heard of horrible things happening like having your uterus rupture or just losing the baby. Has anyone else had a baby this soon? Do you think she will be ok?
My friend had a c-section 7months ago and is pregnant again!?
My 1st was 6 months old when I got pg with my 2nd. I had absolutely no problems. I had cs with both of them. My OB did tell my at my first appt for 2nd baby that VBAC was not an option because of how close the pregnancies were. Wasn't an issue with me. Of course, there are always possible problems that can arrise in any pregnancy regardless of how close they are together. The best advice for your friend is to be prepared for not getting much sleep. Having two that young is tough...but worth it. My daughters are best friends, and once the younger was old enough to play...they entertain each other constantly.
Reply:She certainly was foolish, but this is now between her and her doctor. Encourage her to go and go often.
Reply:It's pretty common. I'm sure she will be fine. A VBAC may be less likely to be recommended.
The majority of uterine ruptures are due to labor enhancers. Some, who had vertical incisions, can rupture before labor and this was the reason for the original recommendation.

the doctor said not to have a baby for 5 years and have it naturally good luck
