Friend A, mockingly puts down Friend B, why does Friend C get annoyed and mock friend A?

Because Friend A is acting like a bully and not like a friend. When someone like Friend A is being a hypocrite they need to be called out and put in their place. Then maybe they will realize that just saying you are someone's friend is not enough but you need to really be a friend and everything you do should be friendly. It's all about loyalty, I think.

Friend A, mockingly puts down Friend B, why does Friend C get annoyed and mock friend A?
it's natural that friend c jumps to their friend's defence
Reply:Friend C is a good friend of Friend B, and I guess defends Friend B from people, like Friend A

That's how friendship goes, i guess.
Reply:To show allegiance to friend B.
Reply:perhaps friend a needs to see that friendship does not work that way.certainly friend a is not very friendly to friend b and friend c apparently does not like that . Objectivity is ok , but put downs don;t help. when mocking is done it could be done in a humorous way or in a cruel way.so in the way of humor it would i think maybe be that friend a could still be a friend to friend b and friend c maybe didn't recognize that. but in the way of meaning the mocking in a cruel way friend a would then not be a friend to friend b and friend c righfully should be annoyed and chooses to mock friend a (not that mocking is necessarily correct behavior) Cleary friend a and b and c need to compare notes,( ha, whoops didn't mean to mock!)comingonthrusthename
Reply:Someone needs to defend the weak and to help try and redress the imbalance
Reply:lemme guess, you are friend A? perhaps your putdowns are not so playful as you would like to think.
Reply:Excellent answer Unix right to the point. Friend C can pick up on the real issue behind the mockery, and knows it ain't friendly.
Reply:if Friend C knew both people maybe they sided with whoever they felt was right
