you gotta be connected to the wifi. to do that go to the Nitendo WfC settings which is when your about to start your adventure then go to the Nitendo connnection settings, go to connection one, press search for an access point and then pick a connection and do a test connection to b sure it works then go downstairs in the pokemon center a lady will automatically give u ur pal pad and then go to ur bag, go to key items click on the pal pad, it will say check friend roster, register friend code, or ( your name)'s code. click name's code and it will give it to u.

Reply:oh thats easy . Go to you bag and select the special items slot. Go to pal pad and select use. There will be a new screen and click the bottom button and there will be a code that lokes like this exaple.(0000 0000 0000). Thats your code. Hope this helps.
