ok, i saw her today at church, and she was really sad. we knew each other ever since we were little, like in the early 90s!!! my mom and her mom were best friends. anyway, she looked really terrible today at church and i was her closest friend over there, so i asked what's wrong. she was really agressive and told me to get lost. i was concerned so i asked my other freind to ask her whats wrong. she said that i have the perfect life, perfect boyfriend, perfect grades for college this year and the perfect family. the worse thing is...all of this is true.
my life IS perfect. my grades are high, my mom and dad loves each other SO much, my boyfriend is her crush ever since she was little, my life IS perfect. i dont wanna rub it in b/c..my bff Eva (thats her name), had the worst. Her parents divorced when she was 9, her mom abusived and hit her, she almost got raped by her stepfather, she was at the hospital a few months ago for attemtping suicide, she really has dangerous low self esteem
My best friend is jealous b/c i have the perfect life(i know it's long, but it's important, i need ur help!)?
I think your "friend" probably doesn't talk to you because you sound pretty high and mighty. Rather than being sympathetic to her, you sound more focused on how much "better" than her you are. I think she's not jealous of what you have, she doesn't like the fact that you don't seem to be able to put yourself in her shoes and feel what she must feel like. To me, my life is not perfect as long as my friends are suffering. The fact that someone you claim to love so much suffers like that and yet you think your life is perfect says a lot to me.
Reply:wow
i think you should let her cool down
keep your distance
but dont make it obvious
or tell anyone
maybe she'll get over it
maybe she wont
if she doesnt
this is a friendship that you are going to have to let go
